There’s always lots of work for our Friday Tidy growers to do, as volunteers from the different community gardens come together to look after green spaces on Bootle’s streets so that people can walk past greenery and enjoy the greener streets in Bootle.
Here they are tidying up the weeds at the Gormley corner of Wordsworth Street and Marsh Lane and all smiles at the Ash Street memorial garden on Stanley Road.
