A cold month and not much to do in the gardens, so we took ourselves off on a trip to the Liverpool Central Library Archives to learn what we could about the history of the Poets Streets neighbourhood, as part of ‘Our Beautiful Grotspots’ project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Everyone had a great time searching through maps and photos – it was absolutely fascinating and we also heard quite a few “there’s my street” comments 😊.
