Learning all about meadows management – October 2024

Thanks to the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund we enjoyed a fabulous autumn get-together, starting with an hour hand-harvesting seed from the wildflower corridor in Peel Road Park.

It was a great opportunity to catch up with the growers in South Sefton at a Taking Root in Bootle meet-up at St Leonard’s. It was also good to see colleagues from Cheshire West and Chester Council going into more details about their wildflower meadows – we learnt so much. We look forward to more wildflower meadows and blooms of all types all over the borough.
