The 2026 summer heatwaves meant early harvest time.
We enjoyed a lovely trip to Speke Hall, where the Climate Champions from People First Merseyside had great fun collecting damsons, as part of the It’s Our Planet Too partnership project, supported by The National Lottery.
Learning more about just how many edible plants surround us, we hosted a foraging tour of Bootle for the walking group from St Leonard’s – lots of surprises for everyone!
