Finally, we were able to organise a Taking Root Doers meeting face to face.

It’s been two years since we last got together, and these are two years which have meant lots of changes, so we thought this was a great chance for our members to shape our way forward. With safety in mind, we organised an indoor/outdoor meeting at the new hut in South Park and created spaces for chatting in small groups.

Adopting a world café style approach, everyone swapped around to join a different conversation, themed around what we should be propagating to distribute to our members for planting next year, ideas for new places and spaces to keep growing our green corridors and what we think about community gardening and being a Taking Root member – here’s some of what our members told us:

And we were also delighted to welcome Sefton Council to present the Bootle Canalside plans and listen to all our suggestions
