In September we returned to our usual Friday morning activities of growing on the streets. We returned to Ash Street and the car park planters to give them an after-summer tidy and created a new bed outside Bootle Library by splitting and dividing what we had planted in 2019.

We also held a seed swap event in North Park Community Garden, inviting people to come with seeds they had collected to exchange them for new seeds they want to plant in 2022. This encourages new people to get involved in growing and makes sure cost isn’t a barrier to getting involved. It also prevents waste from packaging and keeps seeds local.
