Preparing for the 2021 RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park

December 2020

We’re staying positive, we remain creative. With the run-up to Christmas and new year, we have one final deadline for 2020 – our design for the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park. The Tatton team is keeping their fingers and toes crossed that the design will be accepted for the new Community Borders category.

The theme for 2021 is love and colour – how would you interpret it? What flowers, plants and shrubs would you put into a design? Would you choose harmonious or clashing colours?

This time last year we were ready to go for gold in 2020, but the show was cancelled due to the pandemic. In place of an exciting year of new challenges, we had lockdowns, garden closures and even shielding for half of our Tatton team so we are more than ready to bring in the new year.

The design this time needs to be a 3m x 3m garden that inspires and excites, and is able to show ideas and techniques that can be recreated at home. We can’t reveal much at this stage as we have only just started planning, but we will hopefully have good news to report in the new year.
