A well-earned tea break!

As the weather starts to warm up – well a little bit! – it’s a good time to set about tidying up our community gardens ready for spring planting. Here are the volunteers at Gateway Collective in North Park enjoying a bit of sunshine.

And as part of the wider Bootle in Bloom plans, teams from Natural Alternatives and Green Sefton joined up with volunteers to tidy up the car park planters on Stanley Road. Using plants gifted to Taking Root by Rotten Row as a ‘thank you’ for us helping them out in November last year meant we saved lots of money on our spring planting day, as Taking Root creates the benefits of working together and sharing our resources.
